    Join us & guest host Krysten Bishop every Friday in February for a run followed by a Pilates / Yoga class specifically designed for runners in mind! Krysten is truly an inspiration to all, for never giving up and has dedicated her time for fitness and self-healing in 2014.

    Krysten Bishop, has prolonged Q-T heart Syndrome, diagnosed at the age of 17, receiving a pacemaker/defibrillator at 18, learning she had a BRCA 1 gene mutation in 2011 and undergoing a double-mastectomy in 2012. This is clearly a huge part of her life, affecting her running and day-to-day activity. Not loving to run at first Krysten continued running and keeping fit under instruction, guidance and monitoring to prove that “my heart condition didn’t define me”. 

    This past summer, Krystens Dad unexpectedly pasted away to a heart attack. Shortly after losing him Krysten decided that she would dedicate 2014 to healing and his memory. Together with Krysten we support her goals to raise Money for Heart & Stroke Foundation in his honour and Krysten, as she trains to complete her first Half Ironman on September 7th.

    Krysten’s story is just one of many stories of people affected by Heart & Stoke, so please come along and show your support.
